A tool for activists and citizen journalists to participate in a social action, take pictures, do interviews, talk with friends and then go home (or to a car or cafe) and easily include the pictures from the event in a live stream broadcast. In this way, the stream is not just point and shoot (here’s the fire, here’s the firefighter), but a way to go to the action, to participate, and then to consider the story you want to tell and tell it with visuals from the day.
It's pretty simple. And all you need is your phone. Just choose the pictures you want to include in your stream, then go live. While you are live you simply tap the picture you want to add into your broadcast and that's it. You can switch to any picture you want during the stream and you can pause on any selected image for as long as you like. You can also see all the InstaStreams you've made and you can also see all InstaStreams that have been made with the app. After the broadcast you can save it and share it anywhere: Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, etc., or text the InstaStream to a friend.
